As CPI is a service-based company, CPI employees are ambassadors of customer relations. We are in an exceptional position to provide a unique service to our customers, maintaining a position of leadership worldwide, through a structure and commitment that is unparalleled. As such, our company takes every opportunity to excel not just in customer service, but also in conveying to customers our passion about what we do. A key philosophy of CPI conveys our values relating to respect, service, and safety.
At CPI, we want to work with people who do their jobs because they love it. We are committed to filling all positions at CPI with individuals who want to continually grow both creatively and professionally, and who want to be constantly challenged. CPI will provide those challenges as well as the support and encouragement necessary to meet expectations.
Our Employment Philosophy
Our personnel policies at CPI are based on the belief that the success of our company is primarily dependent upon our employees. Our commitment is to:
Recognize employees as an important part of the CPI team.
Periodically review performance and provide ongoing, meaningful feedback.
Promote from within those employees we feel are the most qualified candidates to fill job vacancies—when and where appropriate.
Provide a safe, efficient, and pleasant workplace.
Encourage employees to expand their knowledge and value to the Company through educational opportunities.
Establish and maintain a truly "open-door" environment.
Encourage high-quality customer service.
CPI is a company of impassioned people, committed to helping our customers around the world safely manage challenging behavior and promote Care, Welfare, Safety, and SecuritySM for staff and those in their care.
We do this first by working together in a way that reflects the philosophy of CPI's foundation program, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training—with respect, service, and integrity—and with the understanding that our ethics will define our destiny.
CPI considers itself a socially responsible company. In addition to fulfilling our role as leaders, we have also established our role as contributors. CPI maintains an active giving program for corporate contributions intended to recognize and support the important work of nonprofit organizations. Corporate contributions have included primary and secondary schools, community and civic nonprofit organizations, hospitals and health care agencies, and social service organizations or charitable organizations that are not for profit, such as food pantries and shelters. Each year, we seek employee input and voluntary assistance for the distribution of our charitable donations.
Equal Employment Opportunity
We are an equal opportunity employer. All employment decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and competence. Our employment practices are not influenced or affected by an applicant’s or employee’s race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, age, disability unrelated to ability to do a job, or any other characteristic protected by law. This policy governs all aspects of employment, promotion, assignment, termination, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
