Australia Deals With Rise in Dementia Incidence
The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) estimates that the number of persons with dementia in New South Wales (NSW) will triple over the next 40 years.

Alzheimer’s Australia NSW is concerned that Australia isn’t ready to cope with the rise in incidence of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD). So the organization is calling for a funding pledge because “it is believed it could prevent at least one-third of cases through research.”
