Do you provide care for someone with a physical or mental disability? If so, you need and deserve support too!
The Caregiver Survival Network
(CGSN) is an online tool for caregivers who assist people with disabilities—from Alzheimer’s to cancer to autism. Founded by Adrienne Gruberg, who provides care for her husband and mother-in-law, the network is a community of caring on which you can share experiences, get resources, cope with stress, and fight the isolation that often goes with providing care for another. Check out the site and read survival articles, news, book reviews, caregiver stories, and interviews. Join the community and access discussion boards and chat features, and journal about your journey with caregiving.
Additionally, if you care for a person with Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia, visit our Dementia Care Specialists Facebook page
and join a community of family caregivers; physical, occupational, and speech therapists; nurses; and other practitioners. Share resources, tips, and support with people who understand your concerns!
about how you can provide exceptional dementia care.
