If you haven't heard already, CPI will be hosting its 13th International Conference on July 18-22, 2011, at the Walt Disney Dolphin Resort Hotel in Orlando, Florida. This conference is very special because it marks CPI's 30-year anniversary!
As we continue to grow and expand our services, our conference continues to grow as well. In fact, the 2011 conference will be the first time that we will cover all of our specialized offerings, including the Prepare Training® and Dementia Care Specialists training programs.
Even though the conference is still about a year away, we are already busy planning and I can already tell you there are so many professionally rewarding reasons to attend.
As in previous years, the first three days of conference, you can fulfill Instructor renewal requirements or enhance your existing training. The second two days, you can choose from different conference sessions of interest to you, as well as listen to powerful keynote speakers.
You will be able to explore issues specific to your organizations needs, while also learning about successful strategies other organizations have implemented. You'll also have the opportunity to meet CPI staff and discuss program implementation at your facility, be among the first to preview new training resources, and network with other Instructors who share your commitment to Care, Welfare, Safety, and SecuritySM. You won't want to miss out!
This conference is open to Certified Instructors as well as non-Instructors who would like to become certified or learn more about CPI.
Watch for a survey so you can tell us else what you'd like to see, or to recommend specific speakers. We will release more details as they become available and the conference gets closer. In the meantime, please email instructor@crisisprevention.com if you have questions. See you there!
