Results of a study published in the December 2010 issue of Neurology suggest that higher levels of "good" cholesterol (called high-density lipoprotein or "HDL") are associated with lower risk of late-onset Alzheimer's disease. Read more »



On 1/4/11, President Obama signed the National Alzheimer’s Project Act (NAPA) into law. This law will lay the foundation for a national strategy to address the Alzheimer crisis and coordinate national efforts in Alzheimer research, clinical care, institutional, home and community-based programs.
