October is almost over already—and that means National Bullying Prevention Month is almost over, too! In my previous post, I talked about sharing as much information about bullying prevention with my siblings and colleagues as possible. I have been able to send some web links that I have found useful. Here are some of the resources I found.

Cyberbullying Research Center - The Cyberbullying Research Center is dedicated to providing up-to-date information about the nature, extent, causes, and consequences of cyberbullying among adolescents.

Bullying Statistics - The purpose of this website is to help educate the public on bullying issues; such as school bullying, workplace bullies, bullying teachers, adult bullies, and more.
 

I also have co-workers who have kindly shared additional resources they have come across. Two of these come from the Edutopia website. The first, “Pow! How Comics in the Classroom Can Combat Bullying,” shares a great way for students to express their thoughts about how bullying can be minimized, via comic strip format.
 

The other, “Bullying Prevention: Tips for Teachers, Principals, and Parents,” focuses on practical bullying prevention tips and provides access to studies.
