Innovating Learning for Kids With Autism—and Their Parents, Too
The Jump Start 4 Autism Program at a hospital in New Jersey is pairing preschoolers with autism with positive behavior support. As kids are working with therapists to learn skills and how to generalize those skills to different environments—including home, parents and caregivers are learning to recognize the factors that cause difficult behaviors and how to make positive behavior last.
