CPI will premiere its newest advanced course, Trauma-Informed Care: Implications for CPI’s Crisis Development ModelSM, during the 2011 International Instructors’ Conference taking place in Orlando, FL July 18–22.
The course is designed to examine the effects of trauma on a person’s behavior, and to teach staff how to provide care that is trauma informed and person centered. The course content is applied through concepts in CPI’s Crisis Development ModelSM. The course provides skills that Certified Instructors can immediately implement into their workplaces and training programs.
Certified Instructors may take the course to help satisfy Instructor Excellence Renewal Process requirements.
