In May, CPI hosted a webinar, “Positive Connections: CPI and Positive Behavior Support.” Over 1,000 registrants signed up to attend this free event.
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) includes a range of intervention strategies designed to prevent problem behavior while teaching socially appropriate alternative behaviors.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training is consistent with the PBIS framework at all levels. Both PBIS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® promote person-centered care and are dedicated to improving the overall quality of care for all.
If you didn’t have a chance to see the webinar, you can view a recording of Positive Connections: CPI and Positive Behavior Support. The webinar details how your organization can use Positive Behavior Support and our Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training together to promote positive behaviors.
If you would like more information on how these frameworks work together, view our alignment on Positive Behavior Support and the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® Training Program.
