CPI Presents to Minnesota Department of Education

September 22, 2009 | News

On September 21, 2009, CPI’s Chief Executive Officer, Tony Jace, and CPI’s Director of Client Services, Kendra Stea, made a presentation to the State Department of Education in Minnesota. Minnesota recently adopted their K-12 Education Omnibus Bill and was interested in learning more about how CPI’s Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training program can assist Minnesota school districts in meeting the newly outlined requirements.

While the State Department of Education is not prepared to endorse a single training provider for state-wide use, they were appreciative of CPI’s willingness to meet with them about its programs and supporting products and services. The Department of Education hopes to create a list of providers to recommend as school districts come into compliance with the new regulations. Schools have until August 1, 2011 to be in full compliance with the new requirements.

For more information about the recently adopted regulations and how CPI and its Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training program can help your school meet them, please call us at 1-800-558-8976 or email us at info@crisisprevention.com.
