Domestic Violence Resources and References

Domestic violence is a serious issue that can have devastating effects on every facet of a person's life. In the workplace, it can lead to problems such as absenteeism, tardiness, decreased productivity, increased turnover, and even incidents of abusive individuals harassing or attacking a partner at work.

To help you increase safety and decrease the risk of domestic violence incidents occurring in your organization, read “Domestic Violence Statistics and Your Workplace,” which raises awareness about the effects of domestic violence. “Domestic Violence Affects All of Us” is another helpful resource on the importance of developing policies and procedures for increasing workplace safety.
