TASH to Hold Congressional Briefing on Restraint and Seclusion
On June 28 in Washington, D.C.,TASH, a disability advocacy organization, will host a congressional briefing on national efforts to reduce the use of restraint and seclusion in school settings. Mental Health Classes for Students Interested in Related Careers
Students in Yankton, SD had the opportunity to attend a summer class designed to expose them to careers in the mental health field.

Art Class for Students With Autism
A school in Harker Heights, TX has developed an art class especially for students with autism.
According to one parent, the class provides her son with the ability to express emotions that he would not be able to communicate through speech. He can also incorporate some of his favorite things into his artwork, like animals and superheroes. Read: "Art Class for Students With Autism."
