Alzheimer's Association Releases New Diagnosis Guidelines
New diagnostic criteria and guidelines for Alzheimer's disease were released last month that recognize two new early phases of the disease. Read: "Alzheimer's Association Releases New Diagnosis Guidelines."

 

Bullying Is a Global Issue
Bullying is not an issue limited only to the United States, according to an article on the CNN website, and other countries are implementing antibullying policies. In France, the education minister recently announced that Facebook accounts of bullying students would be shut down, and Mexico recently changed education laws to require implementation of antibullying policies. Hospitals to Receive Money for Improvements in Care
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will share money saved through reduction of errors and faulty care with hospitals that improve care in 2012. The incentive, part of President Obama's changes to the healthcare system, aims to reduce errors that result in extra Medicare costs and repeated hospital stays.
