Company Values
CPI is a company of impassioned people, committed to helping our customers around the world safely manage challenging behavior and promote Care, Welfare, Safety, and SecuritySM for staff and those in their care.
We do this first by working together in a way that reflects the philosophy of CPI's foundation program, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training—with respect, service, and integrity—and with the understanding that our ethics will define our destiny.
Community Relations
CPI considers itself a socially responsible company. In addition to fulfilling our role as leaders, we have also established our role as contributors. CPI maintains an active giving program for corporate contributions intended to recognize and support the important work of nonprofit organizations. Corporate contributions have typically included primary and secondary schools, community and civic nonprofit organizations, hospitals and health care agencies, and social service organizations or charitable organizations that are not for profit such as food pantries and shelters. Each year, we seek employee input and voluntary assistance for the distribution of our charitable donations.
Equal Employment Opportunity
We are an equal opportunity employer. All employment decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and competence. Our employment practices are not influenced or affected by an applicant’s or employee’s race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, age, disability unrelated to ability to do a job, or any other characteristic protected by law. This policy governs all aspects of employment, promotion, assignment, termination, and other terms, conditions, and privileges of employment.
