Three-Day Instructor Program
The Three-Day Instructor Program, our train-the-trainer course, allows an organization to create a positive, congruent approach among all staff. Upon completion, participants gain authorization to purchase and use CPI’s training materials to teach the One-Day Foundation Course within their organization.
Two-Day Foundation and Dementia Therapy Applications
Building on the Foundation Course, this course takes a deeper dive into therapy-specific information relative to assessment, care approaches, documentation, and maintenance programs.

Three-Day Instructor Program
The training choice of most facilities is the Three-Day Instructor Program. This option allows select employees authorization to purchase and use CPI’s training materials to teach the One-Day Foundation Course within their organization.
What is the Instructor authorization?
The Three-Day Instructor Program is essentially a train-the-trainer program. With successful completion, Instructors become authorized to purchase and use CPI training materials to teach the One-Day Foundation Course within their organization. Instructors are also offered continual support for meeting ongoing training requirements and maintaining authorization. The training creates a congruent culture of care that prioritizes the use of remaining abilities and individuality.
Who can become authorized?
Any professional who has the passion to enhance the quality of life and level of independence for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias and who has the desire to teach others. All health professionals are invited to become certified, including occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, physical therapists, nurses, social workers, administrators, activities, and other support staff.
How does someone become authorized?
A professional becomes authorized to teach the One-Day Foundation Course by successfully completing the three-day Three-Day Instructor Program.
