CPI Selected as Exclusive Provider by Oklahoma DOE

In fall of 2010, CPI was named by the Oklahoma Department of Education as an approved provider for a statewide use of positive behavioral approaches for special education students. Since that time, CPI has conducted training programs across the state and was recently selected as the exclusive source for 2012.

Over the past 30 years, we helped thousands of schools successfully plan and implement staff training and sustain a system-wide commitment to safer schools. CPI offers:

• Unparalleled support before, during, and after initial training that demonstrates CPI’s belief that training is an ongoing process.

• Four-Day Instructor Certification Program that trains select staff to become Certified Instructors and conduct ongoing training at your school.

• Documentation of all training activities that provides important information to help improve your school’s training effectiveness.

• A large pool of Professional Staff Instructors who are full-time CPI employees and available to travel to any location to train and assist with program implementation.

• Online resources, including a PBIS blog and an extensive knowledge base of information relative to the PBIS framework.

• Effective training materials, including a specialized workbook that helps integrate PBIS concepts and strategies into CPI’s Nonviolent Crisis Intervention^® training.
