Violence Prevention Training

Since 1980, the Crisis Prevention Institute has become a worldwide leader in violence prevention training for a variety of workplace settings, including schools, special education settings, health care facilities, mental health organizations, long term care settings, juvenile settings, and law enforcement, corrections, and security organizations.

CPI believes that all employees have a right to a workplace where every attempt is made to prevent violence before it happens. Through effective policy implementation and training of the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training program, organizations learn how to minimize risks through violence prevention programs.

At the heart of the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training program are key strategies and tips to help staff learn how to respond appropriately when violence erupts, or to prevent violence from happening in the first place.
