Mark Peperkorn Named Wisconsin’s Associate Principal of the Year

Congratulations to Mark Peperkorn of Pilgrim Park Middle School in Brookfield, WI!
Mark’s work to improve student learning and foster a safe and positive school environment earned him Wisconsin’s Associate Principal of the Year recognition from the Association of Wisconsin School Administrators (AWSA).

“I am thrilled that AWSA has recognized Mark Peperkorn’s work at PPMS,” Principal Mike Sereno says on the Elmbrook Schools District website. “In his five years at PPMS, Mark has been able to establish strong relationships with students and staff, and he is able to utilize those relationships to drive change.”

Mark also recently became a CPI Certified Instructor, joining colleagues Michael Fox, Douglas Johnson, and Tanya Fredrich in teaching other staff Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® program techniques to support students, help them cope with anxiety, and learn skills for building their strengths.
