I’m honored that CPI was recently presented with ISA’s 2013 Business of the Year award!
ISA is an association for leaders in the training industry. Each year, it honors member companies that demonstrate a passion for creating quality products, services, and solutions, for fostering employee development and satisfaction, and for succeeding in the business of providing training solutions.
Our president, Judith Schubert, and I attended the awards ceremony in Phoenix last week. It was inspiring to gather with so many outstanding peers, to exchange ideas, and to connect with other leaders on their contributions to the training industry.
We were presented with the Business of the Year award for consistently outperforming in terms of quality, revenue, growth, and recognition. In short, for exemplifying all the success that ISA members aspire to!
I attribute our success to the success of the organizations that implement our programs. When organizations use the techniques we teach to ensure safety for staff and service users alike, they’re showing a commitment to making the world a better place. And when we help them collect numerical data or when they tell us stories about their success, the positive results mean that lives are changing.

Our commitment to Instructor support is also a key to our success. Not many companies can say that when you call them for guidance, a live person answers the phone!
We frequently hear from Certified Instructors about their appreciation for the level of support we provide. We’re always thrilled to equip them with tools that help them keep enriching their organizations and the people they serve. From our Wall of Merit to all the webinars, publications, and personalized supports we provide, we are dedicated to ensuring that trainings are impactful and successful.
I also attribute our dedication to our philosophy of Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security℠ as principal to our success. We’re passionate about providing professionals with skills to help those who are vulnerable. Our desire to fulfill our mission is what fuels our hard work, and what drives our success.
Thanks to ISA for honoring us with the award, and congrats to our colleagues who won the Broomfield Award (Al Switzler), the Thought Leadership Award (Stephen Covey), the Outstanding Contribution Award (Galina Jeffrey), and the Lifetime Achievement Award (Pete Weaver)!
