Your Mind Is a Garden. Your Thoughts Are the Seeds.
“Your mind is a garden. Your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.”

There’s an idiom that people working in information technology use: garbage in, garbage out (GIGO). It means a bad input will result in a bad output. If your premise is flawed, so too will your solution be flawed.

In layman’s terms, this means if you cultivate poor or incorrect data—the seeds—you wind up perpetuating these messages both within yourself and among others. That’s a whole field of weeds!

So, what does it mean to grow flowers instead of weeds?

It means being mindful; mindful of the quality of what you take in as well as what you produce. Mindful that you have a choice to choose positive values and direction. And mindful that what you plant inside will grow outside. Your mind is hungry, so feed it well.
