Transform Your Organization

CPI training is the key to a culture of safety, empowering organizations to prevent and safely manage disruptive and assaultive behaviors in the workplace.

Why Organizations Resolve Their Challenges With CPI

Achieving Regulatory Compliance

Avoid penalties and fines from regulatory oversight groups, like OSHA, while meeting industry accreditation requirements.

Reducing Workplace Violence

With workplace violence prevention training, you reduce risk and injury at your organization—letting your staff work without compromise.

Improving Organizational Culture

A true culture of safety at your organization empowers staff to manage disruptive behaviors—leaving everybody with a safer work environment improves employee attitudes and performance.

Improving Staff Confidence in Challenging Situations

Give staff the confidence they need to work through difficult situations involving disruptive or possibly assaultive individuals.

Reducing Workers’ Compensation Claims

Not only do disruptive behaviors adversely affect staff morale and their ability to perform, they take a toll on your finances.

Improving Staff Skills to Manage Risk

Focusing on de-escalation and early intervention, CPI training provides staff with an effective framework for decision making and problem solving—equipping them with the skills to transform your workplace.

Partners in Well-Being

Dedicated to reducing risk and liability, decreasing injury, and promoting safety and security, Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) and CPI are partnering together to help your organization continue to develop a culture of safety.

Certify Few. Train Many.

Our cornerstone program, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® training, teaches the practical skills and strategies needed for assessing, managing, and responding to risk behavior. Focusing on verbal de-escalation and early intervention, our training provides your staff with an effective framework for decision making and problem solving.

Key staff members at your organization will participate in an Instructor Certification Program to master the core models, physical intervention techniques, and facilitation skills. After becoming certified, they’ll train the rest of your staff and begin creating a measurable reduction in workplace violence.

How Safer Workplaces Become Reality

  • Options

You send key staff to a four-day in-person training course to become Certified Instructors. After certification, those Instructors train the rest of your staff with either a traditional classroom approach or a blended learning approach (online pre-work with in-person classroom experience).

  • Simple Sign Up

Don’t wait on registering for training—CPI suggests registering for a course you want to attend at least 10 days in advance. Register now by finding a date that works best for you and emailing Heather Walters or calling at 414.797.7436 to figure out the best solution for your organization. Remember to have your PHLY policy number on hand when calling.

  • Implementation

After sending key staff to become certified, they return with the knowledge, intervention techniques, and facilitation skills needed to train the rest of your organization. After certification, you will have the proper materials required to train the rest of your team. No matter your organization’s situation, our support team is ready to help and guide you to positive outcomes.
