Overview
Our flagship program since 1980, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training is perfect for primary caregivers, educators, and human service professionals who experience and directly intervene in crisis situations. This training focuses on de-escalation techniques, risk assessment, and both nonrestrictive and restrictive interventions.
To support social distancing guidelines, we have created a two-day NCI Instructor Certification Program that combines online learning, Instructor-led virtual training, and two days of in-person instruction.
Note: Please log in as a Certified Instructor or as a registered training coordinator of Instructors to access the renewal and recertification course registration options for Certified Instructors.
In-Person Class Hours:
- Day 1: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Day 2: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Once you have registered for the two-day in-person event, call our support services team at 888.426.2184 to schedule your virtual training day, which must be completed prior to the in-person event.
Please note: Each day includes a one-hour lunch break. Please check in at least 15 minutes before the program begins.
