Overview

Our cornerstone program since 1980, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) is perfect for primary caregivers, educators, and human service professionals who directly intervene in crisis situations, with a focus on de-escalation techniques, risk assessment, and both non-restrictive and restrictive interventions.

NCI Delivery Options:

  • Classroom Learning – Our traditional in-person, instructor-led training.
  • Blended Learning – Combining online learning, instructor-led virtual training, and face-to-face instruction. Supports social distancing guidelines.

Please Note: Blended Learning participants will ONLY attend day four. All other participants will start on the first day of the program.

Renewal Options:

  • To view your Renewal and Recertification training options, log in as a Certified Instructor or as a registered training coordinator of a Certified Instructor.
  • We currently offer a virtual delivery option for Renewal programs, to support social distancing guidelines.

Please Note: One-Day Blended Renewal participants will ONLY attend the second day. All other participants will start on the first day of the program.

Course Schedule Information:

We recommend that you check in at least 15 minutes before your program beings. Each day of training includes a one-hour lunch break.
