The new
Restraint Reduction Network Standards come into force in April. For those who aren't sure what they are, they are a set of standards that will help to protect human rights and support the reduction of restrictive practices.
From April 1st, 2021, certification against the Standards will be a legal requirement for all NHS commissioned mental health services and they will later become a statutory responsibility for all social care providers.
On Friday 26th February, CPI will be joined for a 45-minute webinar by:
Joy Duxbury, RRN chair
Guy Cross, Care Quality Commission
Marie Lovell, Skills for Care
If you’re an NHS commissioner, senior executive, training manager, director of governance, health & safety director or equivalent this FREE webinar will provide an overview of the RRN Standards and what your organisation
should be doing to prepare.
We’ll discuss what you
need to be doing now and how you can get the help you may need to meet the April deadline.
You’ll have the chance to put your questions to the panel, including our CPI experts Chris Stirling, CPI International Vice President, and Ollie Frith, Head of
Consulting Services, so you can get advice on what you should be doing next.
If you register and can’t make to the live webinar, we’ll be able to send you the recording after the event.
Fill in this
form to register and we'll see you there!
