Our Training Approach

We offer a training framework — train-the-trainer — that turns employees into subject matter experts. These experts are your CPI Certified Instructors who then teach other members of your organization.

Following a train-the-trainer model increases fidelity and adoption and allows you to integrate existing organizational policies and standards.

How it works

1

We certify your trainers

CPI Professional Instructors train and prepare selected staff to become Certified Instructors for your organization.

2

Your trainers train their colleagues

Certified Instructors conduct ongoing trainings to other staff using courses and materials provided by CPI.

3

Your staff gain skills and confidence

Trained staff acquire the common vocabulary and practical expertise they need to safely address challenging situations.

Beyond the initial training

CPI continues to support your Certified Instructors, from offering training refreshers to answering questions about programs to providing materials and guidance to help ensure staff retain what they’ve learned.
