Find the Right Level of Support for Your School

We meet schools where they are in their behaviour journey from stabilising immediate risk to strengthening long-term culture. Building on what is already in place, CPI’s behaviour training suite provides structured support at every level.

Begin with a consultation with your SLT, which can include a review of your behaviour policy and/or a Behaviour Health Check to identify immediate priorities and levels of risk. Where there are higher-risk concerns, schools may start with Safety Intervention™ or Breaking Up Fights™: Intervention Skills Training to ensure immediate safety, followed by Classroom Culture and/or Verbal Intervention™ to build consistency, confidence and a preventative approach across the school.

A long-term approach could include Verbal Intervention™ training to strengthen everyday de-escalation skills, alongside Hearts & Minds and/or Classroom Culture to build shared expectations and consistent practice across your setting. These programmes help reduce escalation by creating clarity, connection and confidence over time.

A Behaviour Health Check helps you understand your current strengths and gaps, providing a clear foundation for next steps. From there, Hearts & Minds and/or Classroom Culture can support a shared language and consistent approach across your whole school.

The right starting point will depend on your current position, which can be clarified through SLT consultation and/or a Behaviour Health Check. From there, you might strengthen practice through Classroom Culture, Verbal Intervention™ or Safety Intervention™ training where appropriate, helping ensure your approach is consistent, confident and clearly evidenced.

The Hearts & Minds and Classroom Culture programmes help create a shared understanding of expectations and responses across your setting. Verbal Intervention™ strengthens everyday de-escalation skills, with Safety Intervention™ available where physical support is required to maintain a safe environment.
