Our Training Approach

We offer a training framework — train-the-trainer — that turns employees into in-house behaviour or crisis prevention leads. These leads are your CPI Certified Instructors who then teach other members of your organisation.

Following a train-the-trainer model means consistency of delivery and allows you to integrate existing organisational policies and standards.

How it works

1

We certify your staff as trainers

CPI Professional Instructors train and prepare selected staff to become Certified Instructors for your organisation.

2

Your trainers train their colleagues

Certified Instructors conduct ongoing training programmes to other staff using courses and materials provided by CPI.

3

Your staff gain skills and confidence

Staff acquire the practical expertise, as well as the common and consistent vocabulary needed, to safely address situations they find challenging.

Beyond the initial training

CPI continues to support your Certified Instructors, from offering training refreshers to answering questions about programmes to providing materials and guidance to help ensure staff retain what they’ve learned.
