International Accreditation and Best-Practice Training
CPI’s commitment to quality is independently validated through respected markers of excellence, giving organisations in the UAE confidence in internationally aligned best practice.

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) is proud to be an IACET-accredited provider and the recipient of the 2025 IACET Exemplar Training Award, recognising our ongoing commitment to the highest standards of continuing education and professional training.
CPI complies with the IACET/ANSI Standard, internationally recognised as the standard of excellence in instructional practices. This prestigious 2025 Exemplar Training Award highlights CPI’s dedication to developing and delivering evidence-based, high-quality training programmes that empower professionals across multiple industries.
This IACET accreditation authorises CPI to issue the IACET Continuing Education Unit (CEU) for our programmes suite, ensuring that learners receive globally recognised continuing education credits backed by best-in-class training methodologies.
RRN: Restraint Reduction Network Certified Training Service
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) is proud to be an RRN Certified Training Organisation, giving organisations in the UAE added reassurance that our approach aligns with internationally respected best practice for reducing restrictive interventions.
The Restraint Reduction Network (RRN) was established to raise standards in training, with a clear focus on safety, dignity and least-restrictive practice, often regarded as the gold standard for how physical intervention training should be designed and delivered.
For teams who prioritise recognised benchmarks, the RRN certification stamp provides confidence that training has been independently assessed against robust standards.
CPI was instrumental in helping create the RRN, before the network was handed over to Bild Act to be managed independently, reflecting CPI’s commitment not only to meeting standards, but to helping shape them.
Today, CPI remains committed to ensuring our training programmes meet the RRN Training Standards, and in many ways exceed them, so organisations can confidently adopt a framework grounded in quality, consistency and professional accountability.
CPD: Continuing Professional Development
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) is proud to offer CPD-accredited training, providing an added layer of confidence for organisations in the UAE that prioritise recognised professional standards.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is an internationally respected framework that confirms learning is structured, relevant and independently reviewed, supporting organisations to demonstrate strong governance, workforce competence and ongoing capability building.
CPD accreditation also means participants receive formal CPD recognition for their learning, with clear evidence of professional development that can be recorded, reported and shared as part of internal quality assurance.
For teams seeking internationally aligned best practice, CPD-accredited training offers practical reassurance that development is not only impactful in the workplace, but also backed by a credible, widely recognised standard.
Independent Risk Assessment
Any CPI training programme that includes physical intervention is supported by a rigorous, independently conducted risk assessment.
While CPI training is designed first and foremost to build confident de-escalation skills and protect the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security℠ of everyone, we also recognise that some high-risk situations may leave teams with no safe option other than physical intervention to prevent imminent harm.
In those circumstances, assurance matters, so every relevant programme undergoes an exhaustive review by a recognised independent risk assessor, with additional oversight from an international Assessment Moderation Panel of subject matter experts.
The risk assessment provides a clear, comprehensive explanation of the review process and methodology, including internationally recognised approaches to evaluating risk. For organisations in the UAE seeking demonstrable due diligence and internationally aligned practice, this independent assessment offers practical reassurance that physical interventions have been scrutinised with the seriousness they demand.
