“We should never hold children to higher expectations than we have for ourselves, if a child doesn’t know how to behave, lets teach them how to behave with respect and kindness.”
Topics of Expertise
If we truly want to change the behaviour within our school or college, then we must stop trying to “manage behaviour” and start to proactively generate a sense of togetherness and community, leading people into sustained improved behaviour.
Discover the ways we can generate a positive classroom culture, through reflecting on our own behaviours and striving toward egoless learning environments.
Consistency is something every school strives for, but consistency isn’t found in flow charts or pyramids, consistency is created by people working together across the school in a relational way.
Uncover how we can reward and recognise positive behaviour in all children which values their intrinsic self-worth and builds their self-esteem, engaging them in learning and building positivity across the whole school.
Changing our perspective of behaviour helps us to change our approach and find more positive ways of working with young people, lets find ways to treat the cause rather than the symptoms of behaviour for long lasting behaviour change.
