Dementia Capable Care Certified Recipients

Recognizing Dementia Care Leaders

It has never been more essential to create a Dementia Capable Workforce, a community in which everyone from all walks of life has the skills to help people with dementia feel valued, secure, and loved. The leaders listed here have earned one or more Dementia Capable Care credentials or recognitions. We thank them for their partnership and applaud their commitment to making the world a better place for those living with dementia and their loved ones.

Dementia Capable Care Workforce Leader Organizations

"Real leaders demonstrate commitment by doing the extraordinary. They are willing to do the hard work and go the extra mile to be the best, because they care so much. We’d like to thank these leaders for championing quality dementia care by preparing their team in Dementia Capable Care." So wrote Kim Warchol, founder of Dementia Care Specialists, introducing this recognition.

Workforce Leader organizations have trained their teams in Dementia Capable Care and demonstrated their leadership in preparing a dementia capable workforce. Their staff can optimize the independence, safety, and quality of life of people at all stages of dementia, prevent and de-escalate distress behaviors without drugs, support loved ones, and deliver person-centered care.
